Lagniappe Law Lab and the Louisiana Bar Foundation are proud to announce the launch of the Louisiana Civil Legal Navigator. Louisianans can now access highly customized legal information and resources in four high-need areas of law: Landlord/Tenant, Divorce, Child Custody, and Employment.

Building these resources was an extremely collaborative process, involving dozens of subject matter experts across 8 different legal service organizations. A special thanks to Acadiana Legal Service Corporation, the Louisiana Access to Justice Commission, Louisiana Appleseed, the Pro Bono Project of New Orleans, Southeast Louisiana Legal Services, and the Loyola University Workplace Justice project for their support of this project and commitment to increasing access to justice.

With the initial launch complete, Lagniappe Law Lab will continue building partnerships in Louisiana’s civil justice space to identify additional high-impact Navigator development projects to expand the Louisiana Civil Legal Navigator’s service offerings. To foster sustainability, we’ll have a dedicated team focused on ensuring the law, resources, and referrals on this platform stay relevant and up-to-date. Our focus on growth will guide us to develop additional service offerings, increase our user-base, and build new partnerships that afford us the expertise required to build out the comprehensive resources Louisianans need.
Contact us if you’d like to collaborate, or if you have insight on how we should prioritize new developments.
